This is our fresh start.

We are two 50+ people who have spent most of our lives in a medium-sized city in southern Sweden, with careers, meetings, computers, and everything that comes with that life. Over the years, we have also run a few small businesses on the side, mostly because we've always had a bit too many ideas and a bit too little patience to just leave them be..

Our two adult children have left the nest and started their own lives, but we fully expect them to drop by Tunnby every now and then. They actually think this is the right move for us. “Finally, you’re doing what you’ve been talking about for so long,” they say.

And yeah… that's true. For many years we've jokingly said that we were going to start a little B&B 'when we get old.' But when a job window suddenly closed and a new opportunity opened up, we realized that we probably don't need to wait until we're old. Life is too short to wait for the right moment.

So we take the step and leave city life behind us and move to the Kulla Peninsula. Now we long for more nature, more fresh air, and more work with our bodies – and less time at a desk. We know there will be a lot to do. An enormous amount. But we believe in this. And after more than 30 years together, we hope that we’ll also manage to live, renovate, and run a farm hotel together – and live with each other's strengths and weaknesses.
