For us, it's a cozy and modern place to stay in the countryside, where you live close to nature with the same standard as a regular hotel.
At Tunnby, all rooms have their own bathroom, made-up beds, towels, and nice décor (which you can buy in the shop). We combine this with the small, personal setting that only a smaller accommodation can offer.We thought for a long time about which word best describes staying at Tunnby.
A traditional B&B is often associated with simpler standards and sometimes shared bathrooms. A hostel involves shared spaces where sheets and towels are not always included. Hotels in Skåne often have many rooms and a restaurant on-site. None of this felt like it described us.
Many accommodations on the Kullaberg Peninsula are located along the coastal roads, and with the name 'farm hotel' we wanted to make it clear that Tunnby is 'countryside'. The road to us goes through small lanes, and the farm is located at the end of a quiet road, surrounded by fields, peace, and birdsong.
We believe our guests are people who seek nature over city life, who want to combine hiking, cycling, and trips with opportunities for relaxation. With places like Arild’s Vineyard, Flickorna på Skäret, and Holy Smoke within biking distance, you get both adventure and tranquility in the same stay.
That’s why we call Tunnby a farm hotel.
